     Is Orient better than Seiko?
     In the end, selecting either brand, or even both, would be a valid choice. Many individuals begin their journey with a Seiko and later incorporate an Orient timepiece as they become more familiar with watches. However, if you're inclined towards taking risks, opting for an Orient watch initially would certainly be a rewarding decision.
     Is Orient owned by Seiko?
     Whilst the Orient Watch Company is owned by Seiko Epson and the Seiko Watch company is under Seiko Holdings Group. Since 2001, Seiko Epson had already become the majority shareholder (52%) of the Orient Watch company. Few years later in 2009 Orient Watch became wholly owned by Seiko Epson.
